Andreas Lichtenberger brought his engagement as Axel in “Ich war noch niemals in New York” to his new home in 2010. Since then, he has appeared as Fred/Petruchio in “Kiss me Kate” at the Volksoper and as “Shrek” at the Stadthalle. At the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien he played the belligerent priest in “Don Camillo & Peppone”, was Herod in “Jesus Christ Superstar”, Archdeacon Frollo in Disney's “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” and, for the last two seasons, Falco's manager Horst in “Rock me Amadeus” at the Ronacher. Now Horst will become Mr. Gustav, which Andreas, as a premiere and German-language premiere expert, is very much looking forward to.
