
Swantje Lampert studied jazz saxophone at the at the Vienna Conservatory and Contemporary Writing and Production at Berklee College of Music in Boston. She has worked alongside Richard Oesterreicher, Otto Lechner, Alex Miksch, Gina Schwarz, the Alexander Ehrenreich Big Band, and The FeMale Jazz Art. Her main current project is the jazz trio SWANtje (Karol Hodas – bass, Christian Eberle – drums), which has released two LPs, both featured in the Falter Jazz Album Charts of the Year. She regularly performs in Austria and internationally, including at the Jazz Factory Festival (Macedonia), Jazzfestival Leibnitz, Jazzfestival Steyr, and TTAT Jazzfestival Salzburg.
