
Eva-Maria Schaller is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer from Vienna. Her artistic work focuses on female dance histories, particularly the legacy of Austrian dance modernism, exploring themes of transmission and embodied memory.
Her solo Recalling Her Dance — a choreographic encounter with Hanna Berger (2021), created in collaboration with composer Matthias Kranebitter — and the group piece FEMENINE (2022) with Studio Dan, have been presented at venues including Tanzquartier Wien and the ImPulsTanz – Vienna International Dance Festival.
In the Netherlands, she has worked with Anouk van Dijk and Emio Greco; in Austria, she has collaborated with Christine Gaigg, Georg Blaschke, Liz King, Nikolaus Adler, Sabine Glenz (Germany), and Andrea Amort.
In 2023, she completed her MA in New Performative Practices at the Stockholm University of the Arts.
