Christopher Wurmdobler learned almost everything at the Waldorf school — except how to dance his own name. In Giessen, he delved into postdramatic theatre, performed in post- and post-postdramatic contexts, and later spent some time writing for newspapers. And performing. He now creates theatre and books, living and working mostly in Vienna.
He has been nominated several times for the Wiener Theaterpreis and won the Nestroy-Preis as part of Nesterval. In 2024, he received a literature grant from Stadt Wien Kultur.
His new novel Felix Austria will be published by Czernin in 2025.
