Aylin was born in Vienna as the daughter of an Austrian music teacher and a Turkish opera singer at the State Opera. In addition to receiving comprehensive musical training, she also completed her stage education at the Conservatory of the City of Vienna with distinction. Over the past 20 years, her artistic journey has taken her across Europe and to renowned theaters and opera houses in Germany and Austria.
A first major milestone was her participation as a finalist in the ORF TV show MUSICAL – DIE SHOW in 2007/08, which attracted national attention. In 2011, she was discovered by Peter Weck as the youngest Grizabella for the two-year Europe-wide CATS tour.
From 2016 to 2018, Aylin toured Europe as Disney’s ice queen Elsa in DISNEY IN CONCERT, with performances including a stop at the Wiener Stadthalle. In 2018, she took part in concert evenings titled THE MUSIC OF JAMES BOND at the Vienna Konzerthaus, performing alongside Maya Hakvoort, Sandra Pires, and Conchita Wurst. This led to a concert series in Austria with the WW ALLSTARS BIG BAND, with appearances at venues such as Radio Wien Kulturhaus, Landestheater Linz, St. Pölten VAZ, Johann Pölz Halle in Amstetten, and many more.
In 2019, the artist was seen in the Kabarett Simpl/Vindobona production KRAWUTZI KAPUTZI as Ms. Özgül, before going on maternity leave.
Nazide Aylin’s unmistakable, high-caliber voice and live performance make the charming artist a true crossover talent. She has showcased her musical versatility for several years now in a wide range of genres and on diverse stages. In 2019 and 2021, she performed in the open-air orchestral rock concerts SYMPHONIC ROCK and SYMPHONIC ROCK HISTORY with colleagues such as Christian Kolonovits, Andy Baum, Roman Gregory, and Thomas Rabitsch. In 2021, she increasingly appeared on stage with the brass band MAMMUT HORNS, and in 2022 performed at STADTFEST WR. NEUSTADT with Manuel Ortega or in MUSIC OF BOND at the WACHAUFESTSPIELE, as well as solo programs for CRYSTAL CRUISES, performances at FESTKLANG WIEN, and more.
In 2023, she welcomed the birth of her second son. With the production CAGLIOSTRO, Aylin officially returned to her career and is thrilled to be back on stage and part of the team once again.
