
The young tenor Caspar Krieger received his first singing lessons at the “Berlin Chanson Schule” with Arnold Krohne. After graduating from high school in Berlin, he studied singing at the "Musikhochschule Lübeck" with Espen Fegran. Further studies took him to the “Conservatorio di Musica Luigi Cherubini Florence” to Leonardo De Lisi and to the “Theaterakademie August Everding München” to Julian Prégardien. In 2019, he changed his voice from baritone to tenor. He attended masterclasses with Caroll Freeman, Jane Henschel, Carola Schlüter and Ton Koopman. As part of his training, he regularly appeared in concerts and university productions, including as Dr. Falke in “Die Fledermaus” and in a pasticcio to Goethe's “Faust” directed by Jürgen Weber. He also gained stage experience as Papageno and Monostatos (“Die Zauberflöte”) at the "Lübecker Sommeroperette", as Monostatos at the Oper-Oder-Spree Music Festival and as Brühlmann (“Werther”) at "Theater Lübeck". Caspar Krieger has been a member of the "Gärtnerplatztheater" ensemble since the 2021/2022 season.
