Josef Ellers completed his acting training at the Vienna Conservatory. Since then, he has been equally successful in theater, film and television. He has appeared at the Theater in der Josefstadt, the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz and the Melk Summer Festival, among others. He has played a continuous role in the TV series “Vienna Blood” since 2019. In 2024, he took on the title role in “Harry Potter and the Enchanted Child” in Hamburg.
