Max Konrad is an Austrian actor, voice artist, presenter, and puppeteer, born in Vienna.
He discovered his passion for acting in a school production ofEiner flog über das Kuckucksnest at the Schultheater der Walz. He remained true to this passion throughout his architecture studies and while working as a presenter at classical concerts, until he decided in 2014 to study acting at the Film Academy in Vienna.
During his training, he already took on various roles in short films and in the independent theatre scene. After earning his professional stage qualification at the Theater in der Josefstadt and graduating with distinction from drama school in 2017, further theatre engagements followed.
For his role as "Franz Huchel" in Der Trafikant at the Grenzlandtheater Aachen, he was awarded the 2023 Kurt Sieder Audience Award. Currently, he can be seen as a puppeteer in Der Barbier von Sevilla at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden, as well as at the Vienna State Opera in Madama Butterfly, and soon in Fidelio. He will also appear at the Stadttheater Berndorf in Die Nervensäge.
In addition to his theatre work, he has appeared in several film, TV, and commercial productions, including Tatort.
