Since 1996, they have been reviving the old Schrammel music and ensuring that a unique piece of Austrian music history is not lost. The OÖ. Concert-Schrammeln was founded in 1996 and re-formed in 2009. They are members of the “Österreichische Salonisten”, work as teachers in the OÖ. Landesmusikschulwerk and as soloists, chamber and orchestral musicians. The OÖ. Concert-Schrammeln play original Schrammel music by Johann and Josef Schrammel, Mikulas, Sioly, the Sträußen, Ziehrer, Strohmayer and others. The OÖ. Concert-Schrammeln tour with various programs and performances throughout the German-speaking world with artists such as Erwin Steinhauer, Fritz Karl, Wolfgang Böck, Agnes Palmisano, Günter Rainer, Erich Wessner, Walter Zeh, Franz Suhrada, Barbara Wussow and others.
