Robert Reinagl, born in Vienna in 1968, has been a member of the Burgtheater ensemble since 2000. He has performed in productions by Peter Stein, Martina Gredler, Barbara Frey, Lucia Bihler, Declan Donellan, Achim Benning and others. His solo "Vorhangverbot!" about the history of the Burgtheater has been on the program since 2017. Reinagl has appeared in numerous television and cinema films and is a much-booked reciter and speaker for radio and television. He is also a passionate singer and has a large repertoire of Viennese songs, hits and couplets and often enjoys working with musicians.
Wiener Blut will be his first collaboration with Nikolaus Habjan and his first foray into the world of operetta.
