A crime thriller published on the occasion of Johann Strauss’ 200th birthday
The crime thriller for Johann Strauss’ 200th anniversary: A Strauss researcher’s assistant disappears without trace after the last New Year’s concert. In 1878, Strauss is visited by a man who claims to be an illegitimate son of his recently deceased wife Jetty and wants Johann to buy him off. Strauss refuses and soon his concert-goers start coming to a grisly end. Is he in danger too? Brezina’s intriguing blend of fact and fiction links the Austrian empire with modern-day Vienna.
