Kamel Jirjawi is a Palestinian dancer based in Berlin. His choreographic work balances between abstraction and narrative hints. He uses dance to continue telling the story of Palestine, exploring and showcasing concepts of freedom, culture, and history. Kamel studied dance in the Yante – I can move programme, which is affiliated with the Doch University in Stockholm. Since then, he has worked with the NGC25 Company in France, Tanzfabrik in Berlin, and the collective kunststoff in Vienna.
