Theresa Eipeldauer

MusicMusic

Theresa Eipeldauer lives and works in Vienna as a freelance artist and senior artist at the Academy of Fine Arts, where she previously also studied graphic design and printmaking techniques. Her artistic practice moves between drawing, installation and screen printing with a particular focus on experimental forms of publication, which are also at the centre of her teaching activities. At the same time, she is musically active in a wide variety of formations - as a singer with Glutamat and Jolly and the Handkerchiefs as well as in projects at the interface of performance, improvisation and theatre, for example in silent film soundtracks or in puppetry. She works with Hannes Löschel, the Strottern, Karl Stirner, as well as with Linda Sharrok in the formation In the Abyssity of the Grounds. Her musical expression alternates between singing and the singing saw - always with a flair for experimentation and poetic displacement.
