God's Entertainment is an artistic collective based in Vienna. The group engages with current socio-political topics and discourses, submitting them to a performative process of research and transformation. Their works are marked by high intensity and strong audience participation. Performers and spectators encounter one another directly—without the protection of a fourth wall.
God's Entertainment’s visual language draws from the rich imagery of pop culture and media, using associative quotation as a central strategy. Stage design, performers, audience, music, text, and body are treated as equal elements within their productions.
Rather than raising suspicion, God's Entertainment offers proof. And not least of all, they do entertain: their shows are gripping—not by pandering to the demands of a superficial entertainment culture, but by generating a raw energy rooted in social discontent.
With Fight Club – realtekken, the group gained widespread recognition beyond Austria, leading to numerous invitations to festivals.
